Short-tempered, generally bad mannered. Her upbringing is fully to blame for her snobbyish outlook on life. Talks down to the majority of people, apart from Eric Northman, who she idolises.
Likes?
She enjoys reading classic poetry and listening to rock music, much to the dismay of her parents. She also likes watching cooking shows.
Dislikes?
Authorative figures and classical music, mainly due to the amount of piano lessons she took in her childhood.
Talents?
A very talented chef, insisted on cooking own meals when she lived with her parents. Its the one thing she truly misses from her old life before vampires.}

Aerie Francesca Coultier was eighteen years old when she was made vampire by Eric Northman, Sheriff of Area 5. She lived in an upper class neighbourhood with her mother, Melissa Ann Coultier and father, Shane Coultier. Aerie spent most of her childhood being raised by expensive nannies and housemaids due to her parents working long hours. Her parents loved her deeply and believed she had a brilliant life because of the large amounts of money they made. Due to lack of attention from her parents, Aerie grew up into an obnoxious child and then a sullen teenager. Everything she wanted, the nannies provided, fear of being sacked always in the back of their minds.

The night of her death was 16th September 1990. She was a beautiful young woman at this point, beautiful and knowing of it. Herself and a small group of friends decided to visit Fangtasia, the vampire bar in Shreveport. Aerie's friends were very similar to her, too cocky for their own good, most of them being used as toys by the vampires and being fed on regularly. Their night went well at first, until Aerie found herself seperated from her friends. Using this as an opportunity to be nosey, she wandered around the back of the bar and found a small corridor which housed a closed door at the other end. From behind the door Aerie heard a voice. It was a womans voice and what she was saying chilled Aerie to the bones. A few moments later, the door flung open and she was faced with a tall man, a tall man with broad shoulders and messy blonde hair. Eric Northman.

After becoming vampire, Aerie set up residence at Fangtasia alongside Eric and her "sister" Pam. Pam soon took to Aerie, their hurling of abuse at one another quickly becoming a sign of affection. She took to her new life easily, her old life and family barely flitting across her mind. She fed often and greedily, turning her nose up at the blood substitute "Tru Blood". Her decision to change her name was scoffed at by other vampires as none had barely heard of such a thing, but the surname Coultier was known for miles around as was her signature white hair. Eric looked upon Aerie as a younger sister, never seeing her as a lover or anything else.
